Philadelphia’s Democrat Mayor James Kenney was recorded by his staff dancing with joy over a court ruling against the Trump administration that essentially allows the city to continue providing sanctuary for illegal immigrants.
American citizens and those who go through the arduous task of immigrating to the United States legally can only hang their heads in disgust as Kenney sings that they “are a sanctuary city,” while giving his chief of staff, Jane Slusser, a high-five.
The sight of a Democrat dancing over the ability to provide for those who enter this country illegally, essentially picking and choosing which laws he’ll support, is sure to be campaign gold for Republicans.
Federal Judge Michael Baylson of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, a George W. Bush appointee, ruled the Trump administration can’t cut off grants to Philadelphia over the city’s pro-illegal immigrant policies, according to Fox News.
Even if those polices endanger immigration agents trying to do their job.
As for Kenney, he’s a resident member of the Trump Derangement Syndrome club, as seen in his reaction to the president dis-inviting the hometown Super Bowl winning Eagles from a planned White House celebration. A team “delegation” was expected to attend, instead of the entire team — it was later learned this delegation may have consisted of a single player.
The appearance of the president being set up for embarrassment hard to miss.
“Disinviting them from the White House only proves that our president is not a true patriot, but a fragile egomaniac obsessed with crowd size and afraid of the embarrassment of throwing a party to which no one wants to attend,” Hizzoner said in a statement, according to Fox News.
While Democrats dance with joy on behalf of illegal immigrants who have no right to be in the country, the reaction on social media suggests folks are on the open border left and their campaign to artificially alter voter demographics in America.
One user suggested “with that inexplicable display of glee thousands of new trump voters just got their wings.”
