If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. That’s the lesson The Blaze founder Glenn Beck apparently learned after being a Never-Trumper during the 2016 election.
Beck raised eyebrows when he did an about-face and announced he’s now on the Trump Train and will vote for him in 2020. Moreover, Beck predicts that President Trump will win the 2020 election in a “landslide.”
In explaining his conversion, Beck cited the irresponsible, biased media and President Trump’s numerous achievements, notably the decimation of ISIS and the ongoing peace talks with North Korea.
Glenn blasted the media’s “Trump derangement syndrome,” as evidenced by their lies when they pushed the false narrative that Trump had referred to all immigrants as “animals.” In fact, the president had called the deadly MS-13 gang members “animals.”
“Shut up, shut up!” Beck said to the anti-Trump media. “If those animals took your daughter and did what they’ve done to other Americans’ daughters, you’d call them an animal.”
Beck also referred to much of the mainstream media as “dishonest and corrupt people that don’t care about the truth at all.”
He continued: “Media, if you can get me, Glenn Beck, to do this…if you can drive me to the point where I’ll wear one of these stupid red hats, you’re making a gigantic mistake. And I welcome it.”
Beck previously alienated Trump supporters when he repeatedly trashed the billionaire during the 2016 election and endorsed Hillary Clinton. At one point, Beck mocked Trump’s complexion by rubbing his face in a bowl of crushed Cheetos. But the joke’s on Glenn, since his face is already naturally orange.
Beck took to Twitter to defend why he suddenly jumped on the Trump train after all this time.
“His accomplishments on ISRAEL alone is remarkable,” Glenn tweeted. “Iran may be destabilized by his actions as uprisings have now begun. NK is at the table. Movement is not a lasting good but let’s recognize they have moved. ISIS has been destroyed (for now).and ppl have real $ in pocket.”
Beck said he doesn’t agree with everything President Trump does or says, but you have to concede that he has scored major victories during his first year in office.

Many Trump supporters dismissed Beck’s change of heart, saying he’s only doing it because The Blaze is struggling and he’s pandering for viewers for the flailing network.
Conservative commentator Mark Dice quipped: “Real smart to come out as a “Trump voter” and at the same time call the MAGA hat “stupid.” Wow, you are a MORON. Just retire and go away. P.S. – My YouTube channel has more viewers than your network, and I make my videos in my kitchen on a laptop.”

One woman asked why it took Beck so long to admit he was wrong about Trump, saying Beck lost all credibility when he turned on the president.

Paulette High welcomed Beck into the Trump fold, tweeting, “Thank you Glen. I had a hard time w/Donald as well but to call a spade a spade. They [MS-13] are animals. I have daughters. I worry for our country.”

Regardless of your personal opinions about Glenn Beck, Trump supporters should keep in mind that they need to unite in order to avoid a “Blue Wave” at the midterm elections. It’s time for all Republicans to rally behind President Trump. Because the Dems will be united in their resistance against him.
