The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman “seriously asking” a question about President Trump’s “animals” comment seriously sent many heads to desks.
The liberal media went off on Trump for what they claimed was his bashing of immigrants by calling them “animals” during a roundtable at the White House with California lawmakers. The president was actually referring to members of the violent MS-13 gang, but the left doesn’t normally deal with facts and went into a collective meltdown.
Seriously asking – what possible context is there that makes Trump’s “they’re animals” comment from yesterday more nuanced?

“We have people coming into the country…You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals,” Trump responded to a comment by Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims who spoke about not being able to report MS-13 gang members “if they don’t reach a certain threshold.”
But the mainstream media launched into an assault on Trump over his comments and Democrats like Nancy Pelosi even defended the gang members in their rush to bash the president.
Haberman’s epic question unleashed a torrent of criticism as social media users pondered the “special kind of idiot” the Times writer was.
Umm cause he was talking about a gang of brutal criminals who rape, torture & kill innocent people, you diabolical fool. You’re the once conflating murderous scum with all illegal immigrants, not Trump.

You are about to get scores of “possible contexts” that you will instantly reject.

Any run-of-the-mill idiot can accidentally step on a rake, it takes a special kind of idiot to step on the same rake over and over and over againhttps://t.co/Be7t9S9pNS

Indeed. When AP and CNN have already acknowledged the mistake, it’s incredibly disappointing and frankly surprising to see Maggie doubling down. If that’s indeed what she is doing.

He was referring to the GANG MEMBERS. Who DO act like animals. Do you disagree?

Are you serious about asking a serious question? Did you not listen to the whole thing in context and not figure it out?

You seriously need a dose of reality. You’re a reporter. You have access to file photos. Please look up the “work” of this gang & tell me they are not heinous animals.
