Fmr CIA specialist wants to see big-mouthed Whoopi interrogate terrorists: ‘I’ll stay safe with my family and criticize her …’

Former CIA interrogator Dr. James Mitchell ripped Whoopi Goldberg on Saturday for suggesting President Donald Trump should try torture, telling “The View” co-host to get into the game if she has all the answers.

Mitchell appeared on”Fox & Friends,” Mitchell to respond to a remark Whoopi made last week while discussing 33-year CIA veteran Gina Haspel‘s nomination to head up the agency and whether torture is effective in gaining information from terrorists — of course, the only qualification the ladies on “The View” have in determining this is the punishment they inject on America each weekday via their show.

“The View” ran a clip of the president speaking in favor of enhanced interrogation techniques, before Whoopi said that she would like him to “try” waterboarding.

“I think people who’ve actually been tortured who are saying that this is not a good thing you should listen to them because you have never been tortured and neither has [former Vice President] Dick Cheney,” Goldberg said last week, in a direct remark to Trump.

The armchair quarterbacking didn’t sit too well with Mitchell, who interrogated 9/11 architect Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

Echoing a sentiment millions of Americans feel, his initial reaction was to say, “Who cares what Whoopi Goldberg thinks?”

Mitchell then added that “maybe she can show us how it’s done.”

“The next time there’s credible intelligence of another catastrophic attack with the potential to kill thousands of people in the United States,” the former CIA agent said, “maybe she could go to some unsafe place in the world and interrogate the terrorists and I’ll stay back home.”

“I’ll stay safe with my family and I’ll criticize her like she criticized us.”

His next remarks hit the nail right on the head when it comes to Whoopi Goldberg.

“I think what she’s doing really is value signaling,” Mitchell offered. “She’s preening in front of an audience that likes her to show how much more morally superior she is to us.”

He also warned Whoopi that her plan may very likely work against her, saying if “a strong-willed man like Donald Trump” is exposed to waterboarding, “he may see its harshness and think that’s exactly what we need we need to be doing more of.”
