Candace Owens, the communications director for the nonprofit conservative students group Turning Point USA, dropped some epic truth bombs while being heckled by angry Black Lives Matters protesters at UCLA.
Owens tweeted a video of the confrontation, which she set up by writing: “Black Lives Matter protesters showed up to my UCLA event to protest. Here is a video clip of me smacking them down with the truth; they’re a bunch of whiny toddlers, pretending to be oppressed for attention.”

When Black Lives Matters protesters kept interrupting her, Owens gave them some free psychoanalysis and a history lesson:
“What is happening right now in the black community is there is an ideological civil war happening: [There’s] black people that are focused on the past and are shouting about slavery, and there’s black people that are focused on their futures.
What you’re seeing is Victim Mentality versus Victor Mentality. And I can tell you right now who’s going to be better off 20 years from now. Victim mentality is not cool. I don’t know why people like being ‘oppressed.’ It’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard!
[Slavery is something] none of you guys lived through! Your GRANDPARENTS did. And it’s embarrassing that you utilize their history, and you come in here with more emotion than they ever had when they were living through it. You’re not living through anything. You are overly-privileged Americans!”
Candace Owens echoed the sentiments of millions of conservative black Americans, who say it’s time to focus on the future and stop grievance-mongering over the past, because all that does is keep them stuck in victimhood. That’s the marketing “tool” the Democrats have used for decades to woo blacks.

While Owens was attacked by liberals, she got surprise props from Grammy-winning musician Kanye West, who wrote: “I love the way Candace Owens thinks.”

Actress Roseanne Barr voiced her assent, tweeting: “Bingo.”
As BizPac Review previously reported, Roseanne has been instrumental in spotlighting how the radical left has turned off moderate liberals like herself and transformed them into Trump-supporting conservatives.
bingo.

On the flip side, actor Don Cheadle blasted Owens, tweeting: “Wow. That incredibly presumptuous statement says so much.”
That’s when Owens retorted by challenging Cheadle to a debate. “Rather than critique me over Twitter, why don’t you debate me and my stance on BLM,” Candace tweeted.
Naturally, keyboard warrior Don had no reply.
Huge fan of your work, @DonCheadle. Rather than critique me over twitter, why don’t you debate me and my stance on BLM publicly? I will raise 50k for the debate, all proceeds to charity. What do you say?

Shaun King, the ousted white Black Lives Matter activist, blasted both Kanye and Candace on Twitter, basically accusing them of being “Uncle Toms.”
“I am told this is the clip that Kanye saw and loved,” King wrote. “It’s sad actually. For him and for her. A market has always and will always exist for men and women like this who say what bigoted white folk love to hear. They will always have a seat at somebody’s table.”

Owens clapped back: “Out of curiosity… are you still pretending to be black?”

For context, enjoy this lovely photo montage of Shaun King’s white mom and dad, and other Caucasian family members.

Naturally, Owens was repeatedly bashed on Twitter over her conservative viewpoints.
Liberal comedian Dave Rubin summed up the left-wing trashing of an intelligent, confident, conservative black woman with this insightful remark: “Hey @Twitter, you spelled Candace Owens’ name wrong. And she isn’t Far-Right, she’s a conservative who happens to be black. Scary, I know.”
