The first lady proved once again that she’s all class, even when things don’t go exactly as planned.
Melania Trump hosted a group of middle school students at the White House on Monday and invited them to write about the feelings they experience when they’re at home, school or with friends. The first lady exhibited her gracious style when one boy accidentally spilled a glass of water while on his way back to his seat after writing the word “energized.”
According to White House pool reporter for the New York Times, Julie Davis:
He let out a gasp and a loud “Ooohh.”
Mrs. Trump was quick to reassure him, putting a hand on his shoulder and saying, “No problem. Don’t worry. It’s just water, OK?” Press aides said that would be the cue for your pool to depart, and as we did, Mrs. Trump could be heard telling the young visitor: “No worry at all. It happens.”
Melania is becoming known for exhibiting grace under fire. Last month, she responded to ‘salacious gossip’ surrounding the Stormy Daniels story with every bit of class her supporters have come to expect.
And while the youngster might not be so keen on his innocent blunder making headlines, the attention the quick interaction received was good for Melania’s cause that aims to quell childhood bullying. The first lady decided to talk about feelings as a way to further the ongoing dialogue.

The middle school students shared a variety of emotions from being “nervous” to feeling “responsible” and “thankful,” CNN’s Kate Bennett reported.
Children asked by @FLOTUS to come up and write on an electric screen with a black marker the feelings they have when they are either at home, at school, or with friends. They ranged from "happy," to "thankful," and "nervous."

Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos was also in attendance.
Melania was feeling both “excited” and “thankful,” according to Bennett.
As for her own feelings today, @FLOTUS said she was "excited," and "thankful."

The first lady also shared the day’s event on Twitter with some beautiful photos:
We had an informative listening session at the @WhiteHouse today. Thank you to each of the students who shared their thoughts & feelings with me. I am listening and know that together, we can work towards ensuring children everywhere can be their very best. pic.twitter.com/tOzhJD6Qbj

Despite being berated by a constant stream of vile attacks from Trump-hating bullies, the first lady holds her head high and never ceases to amaze with her seemingly endless reserve of grace and charm.
She’s certainly a living role model for her cause.
