Hollywood director wishes Trump would ‘quietly die’, longs to be released from his ‘hate & sadness’

Hollywood director Joss Whedon has proven once again just how unhinged he is in his hatred of President Donald Trump, but this time may have drawn the attention of the Secret Service.

The “Avengers” director tweeted Tuesday night that Trump is “killing this country,” wishing for the president to “quietly die.”

“Donald trump is killing this country,” Whedon tweeted. “Some of it quickly, some slowly, but he spoils and destroys everything he touches. He emboldens monsters, wielding guns, governmental power, or just smug doublespeak. Or Russia. My hate and sadness are exhausting. Die, Don. Just quietly die.”

Whedon, who referred to Trump as “Ugly White Rage” in a misguided tweeted last month about an Austin, Texas, bombing victim, has opposed the president from the beginning, tweeting days after the 2016 election: “This is simple: Trump cannot CANNOT be allowed a term in office. It’s not about 2018. It’s about RIGHT NOW.”

In February, Whedon called Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents “Trump’s SS” in a tweet, saying they “are the shame of our nation” and asked, “How do we stop them? How do we protect our people?”

But then, the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly has a history of tweeting without thinking, as was seen last year when he was forced to apologize for mocking a photo of House Speaker Paul Ryan meeting a group of young women.

Whedon characterized the women in the photo as part of a “White House Wife Hunt,” but scrambled to delete the tweet after learning they were cancer survivors.

The liberal zealot tweeted an apology for mocking the cancer victims, promising: “I’ll be quiet for a bit.”

But, alas, that promise didn’t hold very long.

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino lead the charge in responding to Whedon’s death wish.

“This complete maniac is a disgrace to himself, his family, his community, the country and anyone who knows him,” Bongino tweeted.

Here’s a sample of other responses from Twitter, to include one that asks, “How the hell is this man’s account not permanently suspended?”
