The Daily grind dealing with rabid liberals on “The View” apparently has Meghan McCain looking for a fight.
McCain stoked a public feud with “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp on Wednesday, telling host Danny Pellegrino on the “Everything Iconic” podcast that “If you’re going to cat fight with me, then f–king cat fight with me.”
The spat began last month when McCain called the new “Real Housewives” cast member “boring” in a “Watch What Happens Live” appearance, Page Six reported.
Mellencamp, the daughter of rocker John Mellencamp, fired back during an interview with TooFab last week.
“I would never comment on how I think Meghan McCain does at her job,” she said. “I just wouldn’t. That’s not my place. I’m about empowering other women to be the best they can be.”
McCain kept the feud going on Wednesday, telling Pellegrino:
“That was such a boring response. If you’re going to cat fight with me, then f–king cat fight with me, like come up with something better than that. You’re boring.”
“The View’s” lone conservative added, “That’s boringness of all boring, like you’re not even answering in a good way.”
She also praised Mellencamp’s on-screen rival, Erika Girardi.
“Erika could probably, like, run over my cousin and I still wouldn’t be mad.”
Mellencamp responded in a statement to Page Six:
“For someone who thinks I’m so boring she sure has a lot to say about me,” she said.
The former equestrian concluded by slamming McCain with a bit of wordplay.
“Of all the horses I have ever ridden, I have never been on one as high as the one Meghan sits on.”
