Sean Hannity blasted his “clueless” colleague Shepard Smith over his recent comments about opinion programming on Fox News Channel.
The host of “The Sean Hannity Show” lashed out at Smith who dismissed what he characterized as opinion shows on Fox News Channel as existing “strictly to be entertaining,”

Smith spoke to Time Magazine’s Daniel D’Addario in an interview published Thursday titled, “Shep Smith Has the Hardest Job on Fox News.”
“Some of our opinion programming is there strictly to be entertaining,” he said.
“We serve different masters,” the 54-year-old anchor who was just re-signed by the network to a multiyear contract as Fox’s chief news anchor and managing editor of breaking news, according to The Hill.
“We work for different reporting chains, we have different rules. They don’t really have rules on the opinion side. They can say whatever they want. If it’s their opinion,” Smith said of the network’s news division lineup, including Hannity’s primetime show.
“I don’t really watch a lot of opinion programming,” Smith added. “I’m busy.”
He also declared in the interview that he doesn’t look at everything politically and doesn’t even like politics.
“I’ve never really liked politics,” Smith told Time. “I’ve always said that I thought politics in America was weird and creepy, and lacked a connection to reality.”
This from the man many Fox News viewers complain injects plenty of his own opinions in the stories he covers, not to mention his openly anti-Trump bias.
