Judge Nap lays out a chilling suggestion for Susan Rice’s mysterious email she sent to herself

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Judge Andrew Napolitano dug into an “unusual email” that Obama national security adviser Susan Rice sent to herself on the day of President Trump’s inauguration, in which the former official described Obama’s supposed instructions related to the Russia investigation.

Napolitano said Rice’s comments in the email, released by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Monday, looked like “an effort by Susan Rice to reconstruct history.”

The judge also speculated to Fox News’ Martha MaCallum that Rice wanted make it appear that Barack Obama “was ignorant of the fray fomented by his administration to undermine the incoming president and his hands were absolutely clean.”

“I mean, this is the same Barack Obama who told [Fox News’] Chris Wallace he didn’t talk to anybody in the Justice Department about any of the investigations, and yet we know the [text] from Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, the two FBI people whose texts we’ve seen hundreds of times: ‘POTUS (written in 2016 so the reference is to Barack Obama) wants to know all about this.'”

Napolitano continued:

“So there’s a serious disconnect there. They must have learned something in the waning minutes of the Obama administration which made them worry that what we now know would be discovered. So in an effort to reconstruct history, she writes herself a memo: ‘By the way, dear Susan Rice, don’t forget that Barack Obama said “I want this done by the book.” And he said it back in January 5.’

“Nobody would believe this.”

He concluded:

What Senator Graham would love to find out and what we all would like to find out is: What communications made their way to her between January 5 and January 20 … which caused her to write this?”

According to Fox News, the Jan. 5 meeting referenced by Rice in her email was attended by included Obama, then-FBI Director James Comey, then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, then-Vice President Joe Biden and Rice.

Sens. Grassley and Graham have asked Rice to answer questions about the email by February 22.
