‘Watch closely for Barack Obama’s fingerprints’ all over FBI scandal, Congressman not afraid to say

Amid all the hoopla over the House Intelligence Committee memo, the elephant in the room the media is tiptoeing around is how does the controversy tie back to President Barack Obama.

One person not afraid to broach that topic is Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, who has been talking about the “fingerprints” of Obama.

“Watch closely for Barack Obama’s fingerprints,” King cautioned in a radio interview on Saturday. “[Democrats and their allies] will defend Barack Obama at all costs, and they’ll defend Hillary Clinton almost at all costs unless they have to sacrifice her to protect Barack Obama.”

The staunch conservative, one of a few members of Congress who has managed to hold onto his principles, posted a video on Twitter right before the memo was released to say, “I think this trail leads pretty far up the line.”

King reminded viewers of what Obama said during an April 2016 interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace, when the former president was asked about potential political influences at the FBI and Justice Department.

“When you #ReadTheMemo think about the fingerprints of #Obama. Obama ‘Guaranteed’ NO corruption in FBI or DOJ in any case! ‘Guaranteed. Full stop!'” King tweeted.
