FBI agents knew outcome of Clinton email probe in advance, newly released text messages reveal

The stench coming from the Obama-era Federal Bureau of Investigations reeks that much more after newly released text messages suggested that agents knew the outcome of the Hillary Clinton email server probe in advance.

Of the nearly 400 pages of text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page turned over to Congress by the Justice Department, one suggested that they were aware no charges would be filed against Clinton BEFORE the bureau interviewed the Democratic presidential candidate, Fox News reported.

Strzok and Page, who were engaged in an extramarital affair, worked on both the Clinton investigation and Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russian probe before being removed last year after anti-Trump texts between the two emerged.

It was Strzok who changed Comey’s announced description of Clinton’s actions from “grossly negligent” — which could carry criminal penalties — to “extremely careless.”

A text exchange between Strzok and Page, dated May 4, 2016, spoke about “pressure” to wrap up the Clinton email server investigation after Trump secured the GOP nomination.

“MYE” is a reference to “Mid Year Exam,” the FBI’s code name for the Clinton probe, according to The Daily Caller.

In a batch of text messages between Strzok and Page, the two discussed former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s decision to defer to the FBI in the Hillary Clinton private email server case, with Page claiming Lynch knew no charges would be brought against Clinton.

Equally troubling, the bureau failed to preserve hundreds of tests between the lovers from Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017, according to Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
