Las Vegas massacre investigators have still not uncovered shooter’s motive, but they did find list of other murder targets

We still don’t know the true motivation behind shooter Stephen Paddock’s murderous rampage last October, but investigators have recently learned about other targets he may have been exploring besides Las Vegas where the 64-year-old retired accountant gunned down 58 people from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel.

Including, according to a preliminary report released by Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo, a famous Santa Monica, California beach.

According to the report, online searches were performed on May 18, 2017 for “summer concerts 2017,” “grant park functions,” “biggest bear,” “La Jolla Beach,” “open air concert venues,” “biggest open air concert venues in USA,” and “how crowded does Santa Monica Beach get.”

The same day, Google Map searches were performed for Fenway Park and Venice Beach.

Months later, on September 5, Paddock’s target narrowed as he performed Google searches for “life is beautiful expected attendance,” “life is beautiful single day tickets,” and “life is beautiful Vegas lineup” as well as Bing searches for “Mandalay Bay Las Vegas,” “Route 91 harvest festival 2017 attendance,” and “Route 91 harvest festival 2017.”

Ten days later, the Las Vegas murderer also searched for “swat weapons,” “ballistics chart 308,” “SWAT Las Vegas,” “ballistic,” and “do police use explosives.”

Lombardo discussed the report’s release during a Friday press conference:

Other determinations from the report included the revelation of hundreds of images of child pornography on Paddock’s computer and the fact that one other unnamed person is under investigation.

As to a possible motive?

“You are all going to have to be patient and let the investigation run its course,” Lombardo said.
