Do birds of a feather flock together? Just ask actor Alec Baldwin, who defended accused child molester Woody Allen.
Baldwin came to Allen’s defense after several actors who had starred in his movies recently slammed Allen. The filmmaker has been accused of sexually molesting his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow when she was 7 years old.
“Woody Allen was investigated forensically by two states (NY and CT) and no charges were filed,” Baldwin tweeted. “The renunciation of him and his work, no doubt, has some purpose. But it’s unfair and sad to me. I worked w WA 3 times and it was one of the privileges of my career.”
It sure sounds like Alec is saying Allen is innocent simply because he’s a good director.
It’s odd that when it comes to President Trump — whom Baldwin despises — any allegation is accepted as incontrovertible truth, while disturbing accusations made by Allen’s own daughter requires skepticism.

It is well-documented that Allen had a sexual relationship with Soon-Yi Previn, the adopted daughter of Woody’s ex-girlfriend Mia Farrow. Allen later married Soon-Yi.
In 2014, Allen’s adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, penned an open letter in the New York Times detailing the sexual abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of her own father.
In 2017, Dylan followed up with another op-ed in the Los Angeles Times, where she wrote:
“When I was 7 years old, Woody Allen led me into an attic, away from the babysitters who had been instructed never to leave me alone with him. He then sexually assaulted me. I told the truth to the authorities then, and I have been telling it, unaltered, for more than 20 years.”
Dylan’s brother, NBC News reporter Ronan Farrow, has slammed Hollywood’s “culture of acquiescence” toward child molesters, rapists and other sexual predators.
Ronan said he believes Dylan, and buttressed his statement with recollections of Woody Allen’s bizarre sexual behavior when they were children.
Ronan said: “I believe my sister. This was always true as a brother who trusted her, and, even at 5 years old, was troubled by our father’s strange behavior around her: climbing into her bed in the middle of the night, forcing her to suck his thumb.”
Meanwhile, Alec Baldwin was widely slammed on Twitter for defending an accused child molester.
