California Senator Dianne Feinstein has joined the chorus of liberals and hand-wringing conservatives lining up to point and shriek at President Trump for daring to allegedly call poorly run countries from which virtually everyone wants to escape, “sh*tholes.”
“President Trump’s vile comments about Africa and Haiti are despicable and beneath the dignity of the presidency. They unquestionably diminish our country’s standing in the world,” Feinstein said in a statement released Friday. “The president’s words make the jobs of Americans stationed all over the world harder — soldiers, diplomats and businesses.”

“Despicable and beneath the dignity of the presidency,” the liberal senator charges, but untrue? Like virtually every other critic, Feinstein neglected to describe in a logical, analytical fashion why exactly the president is wrong and why exactly, if said countries are indeed paradises on earth, so many of their residents are so desperate to get the hell out of them.
Of course, she just had to raise the specter of “hate crimes” and “white nationalism,” because that’s what the liberal playbook calls for in instances like this.
“Hate crimes against Muslims, Jews, LGBT individuals and other minorities have increased over the past two years. White nationalism, which led to the death of a peaceful protestor in August, is on the rise,” the statement said.
With zero evidence, Feinstein accused Trump of wanting “a homogenous, white society” and decried what happens when “the most powerful person in the world espouses racist views and gives a wink and a nod to the darkest elements in our society,” referring to the fact that Trump also called out violent antifa elements along with the racists who marched in Charlottesville last year.
“If the president can’t control himself and lead this country with the authority, dignity and leadership it requires, then he shouldn’t be the president,” Feinstein said. “There’s no room for racism in the Oval Office.”
There’s plenty of room in Haiti for you, Senator, should you choose to put your money where your mouth is.
