Liberal celebs sometimes step away from their luxurious existences long enough to remind regular Americans how little their suffering means to them.
Actor Rob Lowe tore at singer Bella Thorne for a tweet in which she described being inconvenienced by the devastating California mudslides that have left at least 17 dead, 43 missing, and hundreds trapped in their homes.

Lowe took issue with a since-deleted tweet published by the pop star on Wednesday.
Thorne wrote, “F**k u 101 Barbara. I’m missing my boyfriend’s first date on his tour.” The singer’s tweet made reference to the concern tour of her boyfriend, rapper Mod Sun.
On Thursday, Lowe shared a screen capture of Throne’s tweet on his Instagram account and scathingly excoriated her comment.
“This attitude is why people hate celebrities/Hollywood,” Lowe wrote. “Bella, I’m sorry you were inconvenienced. We will try to move out our dead quicker.”
Earlier on Thursday, Lowe expressed grief for the the lives lost during the catastrophic natural disaster facing Southern California–which he said included some friends.
The “Parks and Recreation” star lamented, “More terrible stories of loss today. Friends missing, some gone forever. Pray for Montecito and know: EVERY day could be your last. Embrace that.”
The 101 highway was closed on Thursday as the community of Montecito, CA reeled from deadly mudslides. The county coroner has listed the cause of death for each victim as “multiple traumatic injuries due to flash flood with mudslides due to recent wildfire,” according to the Los Angeles Times.

Residents have taken to social media to try to locate their missing loved ones.

Several areas have been made inaccessible due to mud, downed power lines, and fallen trees. In some instances, emergency response crews have used helicopters to rescue trapped persons.
Authorities expect the 101 to remain closed through Monday as crews work around the clock to clear the area of debris, cars, and safety hazards.

Hopefully, the wait isn’t more than Bella Thorne can put up with.
