Is Megyn Kelly on the road to unemployment?
The host of NBC’s “Megyn Kelly Today” is at odds with her own network’s executives for attempting to book an interview with former “E! News” co-host Catt Sadler, Page Six reports.

Sadler ended her 10-year stint at E! Network in December after she learned her co-host, Jason Kennedy, was making nearly twice her salary.
It’s true. Today will be my last day on #DailyPop and @enews. I hope you’ll tune in so I can thank you for the memories. I love you guys SO much it hurts.

Kelly’s reported effort to bring Salder on her show is a conflict because E! Network and NBC are owned by the same parent company–NBCUniversal.
“They are appalled [Kelly] would use their own airtime to criticize the company,” said an insider. “It was bad enough when Debra Messing [of NBC’s “Will and Grace”] weighed in on [Sadler’s grievance] on the Golden Globes red carpet on NBC. Now Megyn is going to put Catt front and center — on NBC! Yikes.”

The NBC insider referred to remarks in which Messing criticized E! for the wage gap between Salder and her male co-host.
NBC has faced enormous backlash in recent months. The network passed on employee Ronan Farrow’s bombshell story on alleged sexual abuse by movie producer Harvey Weinstein.
In November, NBC fired “Today” host Matt Lauer over charges of “inappropriate sexual behavior.”

Megyn Kelly’s time at NBC has been stormy. Her hard-hitting news magazine program, “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly,” was shelved due to lackluster interviews and low ratings.
On her daytime show, Kelly has struggled with to find a footing, getting into controversial exchanges with the likes of Debra Messing and Jane Fonda.

Maybe Megyn Kelly is wishing she’d made peace with President Trump and stayed at Fox News.
