Don’t get ahead of yourself, liberals.
Oprah Winfrey made waves with her speech at the Golden Globes Sunday night. The media icon became the first black woman to accept the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award, and received the prize with an address that called for an end to widespread sexual abuse.
“And when that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are right here in this room tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men, fighting hard to make sure that they become the leaders who take us to the time when nobody ever has to say ‘Me too’ again,” Winfrey said.
The speech sent Hollywood into a tailspin, with celebrities and news outlets urging Winfrey to run for president in 2020.
If the former talk show host launches a political bid, there’s one photo she’ll have to give account of–particularly because her stirring speech indirectly tackled the sexual misconduct of movie producer Harvey Weinstein.
Weinstein enjoyed a close business relationship with Winfrey long before the allegations of sexual assault and harassment became public.
British actress Kadian Noble claimed the movie mogul used Winfrey to lure her into sexual assault, Page Six reports. Noble was allegedly drawn to associate with Weinstein by the way he had Winfrey “swinging off his arm.”
The former host of the “Oprah Winfrey Show” attended a number of Weinstein Company events throughout the years and appeared in Weinstein films, including Lee Daniels’ “The Butler” (2013).
Winfrey’s history with Weinstein led Twitter users to question her viability as a political candidate.
A picture it re is worth a million words….this one says a lot….disappointed in you Oprah to say the least. Your crown is tarnished the bling oily s falling off. The truth always comes out in the end…

You have got to be kidding!! And the rumors are she may run in 2020. Not a chance! Not after enabling Weinstein!

It’ll be great to see that picture in 2020 if/when she throws her hat into the ring.

Winfrey endorsed Barack Obama in 2008 and Hillary Clinton in 2016. Her name has been floated as a possible candidate before.
Last April, Zogby Analytics released a poll claiming Winfrey would beat Donald Trump 46 to 36 percent.
Before the president entered politics, he had a warm relationship with Winfrey. During a Larry King interview in 1999, President Trump said Winfrey would be his “first choice” for Vice President if he were to run.
“Oprah. I love Oprah. Oprah would always be my first choice. Oprah. Oprah, you’re competitor, right?”
“I’ll tell you, she’s really a great woman,” the president said of Winfrey at the time. “She’s a terrific woman. She’s somebody that’s very special.”
In a 1988 interview on her show, Winfrey asked President Trump about his presidential ambitions.
Several media outlets expressed enthusiasm about the possibility of an Oprah Winfrey presidency.

Many Twitter users dismissed Winfrey as a candidate.

Another potential Presidential Candidate who will play the race card, does America want to go through another 2016 Race card Election? Economy, Security, Schools, Infastructure, Jobs, Privatization of Healthcare.

Oprah is not a politician. And should never be one.

Talk of #Oprah2020 is silly. Oprah is nothing but platitudes. She has no thinking on policy. Obama was all about platitudes in public. But he used it to hide a hardcore, left-wing, anti-American agenda. Oprah just has the platitudes with nothing behind it.
