The “bomb cyclone” may be coming to your neighborhood if you live on the East Coast.
That’s what meteorologists dubbed the first major snowstorm of 2018, which is set to hit Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and coastal eastern New England Thursday. Most of these areas will experience bone-chilling temperatures, blustery winds and at least a foot of snow.
“Snowfall will increase northward into portions of the Mid-Atlantic and New England through Thursday,” the National Weather Service warned in an advisory.
“Blizzard conditions are possible close to the coast in portions of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.”

The powerful snowstorm alert caused flight cancellations along the East Coast, and prompted dozens of school districts to close Thursday.
The “bomb cyclone” continues an unusual weather pattern that saw snowfall in Tallahassee, Florida, on January 3 — for the first time in 28 years.

The cold front and snow comes a week after President Trump trolled global-warming alarmists by tweeting the following:
“In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record. Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!”

Climate alarmists shrieking about “global warming!!” narrowly focus on the recent past while disregarding the wild temperature fluctuations that occurred before the advent of the modern age.
Despite what liberals claim, most conservatives do not deny that climate change is real.
Many merely question how much is man-made, and more importantly, whether proactive measures can stop what has occurred naturally over eons and will inevitably occur again no matter what we do.
