Bernie Sanders has gone full “resistance” mode.
The Vermont senator hailed in the New Year with a vow to “intensify” his opposition to President Trump, as well as to promote “progressive” policies in the US.
Here is a New Year's Resolution I hope you will share with me. In 2018, we will not only intensify the struggle against Trumpism, we will increase our efforts to spread the progressive vision in every corner of the land.

“Here is a New Year’s Resolution I hope you will share with me,” Sanders wrote. “In 2018, we will not only intensify the struggle against Trumpism, we will increase our efforts to spread the progressive vision in every corner of the land.”
The former presidential candidate, a self-described “democratic socialist,” has been a leading critic of President Trump’s policies.

In the final days of 2017, Sanders blasted the president on the issues of immigration, Obamacare, and the GOP tax bill.

If Congress does not get its act together, we're going to have 800,000 bright young people with no legal status who will be subject to deportation and thrown out of the only country they have ever known. We must protect the DREAMers and move them towards citizenship. pic.twitter.com/owIUzkw3My

It is astounding that we have a president who celebrates 13 million people losing their health insurance. Instead of bragging about more Americans without health care, we should be joining the rest of the industrialized world and guaranteeing health care to all people as a right. pic.twitter.com/I27ivXxFH4

Last month, Sanders told CNN’s Anderson Cooper he believes President Trump should resign over sexual assault allegations made against him during the 2016 campaign.

Gellibrand tweet, saying the President “has some very serious emotional problems to say that…everybody knows exactly what he meant,” adding later in his interview with @AndersonCoooper “I do think he should resign” https://t.co/YNY5yO3yJZ pic.twitter.com/Pt4p4LqJ2y

Despite being an independent, the senator remains a popular and influential figure in the Democratic party–particularly among young voters.

Sanders has not stated whether he will run for president again in 2020.
Conservative Twitter users derided the lawmaker’s declared opposition to the president.
Good luck with that, Bernie Quixote™. Couldn’t even “struggle against” Clintonism.

Oh Bernie! Just retire, enjoy your grandkids and the 700k oceanfront home the Dems payed you off with!

I just don’t understand how this crap can go on&on. “Fight against ” instead of work with! Come on already, hell us Americans out already. The division doesn’t help us!

He blames Trump, but he’s admitted that he wants to get back to the Progressive agenda. An agenda, which was largely built silently & illegally during the Obama admin. THAT brought out the anti Democrat vote. Transparency not Deep State. Smaller government is where we’re headed.

The democrats don’t even back Bernie. He’s so extreme and they know it. They don’t want him as president. This country will go broke w him as pres. If you think obamas debt was bad Bernies will be quadruple that.

Maybe the people of the US should intensify a fight against bernie sanders. He is a socialist and you know where that gets you, nowhere. Also ask bernie where he got all the houses he has and how. This man is a phony and should be voted out.

Because he did so well fighting the #DNC fraud that cost him his candidacy. That’s just one small battle. Imagine what he can collapse under fighting for the whole country.

He will resist Trump but stand by Clinton after they rigged the election against him! How much did he get paid to quietly go away! Was it worth abandoning his supporters?

Let the left keep fighting and resisting and conservatives keep moving forward to make things better.
