For young liberals, Hillary Clinton can’t go away soon enough.
The two-time presidential candidate was mocked in a Vanity Fair video that presented the former First Lady with several potential pastimes for the New Year–none of which included seeking office again.
Maybe it’s time for Hillary Clinton to take up a new hobby in 2018 pic.twitter.com/sbE78rA5At

The video was titled “6 New Year’s Resolutions for Hillary Clinton,” and recommended Clinton find a “new hobby” for 2018.
The editors of Vanity Fair’s “Hive” section held a glass of champagne in hand as they took turns presenting the Democratic fixture with their ideas.

The first editor took a jab at Clinton’s book, “What Happened,” a memoir in which the failed candidate attempts to explain why she lost the 2016 election.
“It’s time to start working on your sequel to your book ‘What Happened: What the Hell Happened?'” the Vanity Fair editor jeered.

The magazine’s staff continued:
“Get someone on your tech staff to disable autofill on your iPhone so that typing in ‘F’ doesn’t become ‘Form Exploratory Committee for 2020.'”
“You know on Anderson Cooper you were telling him about alternate nostril breathing? You seem really adept. You should try teaching a class.”

Another editor said:
“Take more photos in the woods. How else are you going to meet unsuspecting hikers?”
The comment made reference to a Clinton supporter who ran into the defeated candidate while taking her daughter for a hike in the woods just days after the election.

The Vanity fair crew said the former Secretary of State would do well to try knitting.
“Take up a new hobby in the new year. Volunteer work, knitting, improv comedy, literally anything that’ll keep you from running again.”
“To finally put away your James Comey voodoo doll. Now we all know you think that James Comey cost you the election–and he might have–but so did a handful of other things. It’s a year later and time to move on.”
A number of liberals came to Clinton’s defense.
Repugnant. Sexist. And yet another example of why the problem was less Russia and the GOP but the mainstream media, who treated @HillaryClinton with dripping disdain for the duration of the 2016 election. And for all of 2017. Ugh.
Now back to my break… https://t.co/7CmJBWV5xM

So @VanityFair decided that the best way to end 2017 was to take a repulsive cheap shot at @HillaryClinton, one of the most accomplished women in the history of the United States.
Now #CancelVanityFair is moving.

Your Vanity is failing you, VF! You wish you were as influential as she @HillaryClinton is! In a moment in history that probably we need more women leading than ever, you try to make a joke out of her? Why don’t you do it with the other male candidates of both parties? https://t.co/4CGALQjYqa

Vanity Fair tl;dr: Six young white people holding glasses of champagne would like Hillary Clinton to abandon her life's work and platform and just shut up. Good to know. https://t.co/cELDKdVmYd

You mean besides helping women run for office and generally being a role model for women, who hold only 17% of the 500k elected positions in the US?
Just curious – what kind of hobbies do you recommend for Bernie Sanders in 2018, @VanityFair? https://t.co/zsp5B2JEz0

Conservatives on Twitter jokingly encouraged Clinton to launch another bid for the presidency in 2020.
Yeah. No better way to ensure a second term for Trump

Time to move on? God only if they really truly meant it for what is should have been. The leftist in any authority position real or imagined craves only power, and fears the loss of it. I agree with @PrisonPlanet Dear HRC please run again, guarantee a Trump win ?

What a Christmas gift that would be!

Third time is the charm according to the old saying. Maybe Warren could run as her VP.
— Summer (@Sunshine2078) December 24, 2017
Let’s see if we can get her to top 2 billion in campaign spending this time!
— Brad Manske (@bmanske) December 25, 2017
If she ran again we would be able to see her in some new pantsuits!?
— Anne (@jill306) December 24, 2017
Prop her up.
— David (@realDaveSandall) December 24, 2017
Her platform would be, raise taxes, denounce Jerusalem and please forget Benghazi!
— Mark A. Chambers (@MAChamberz) December 24, 2017
Yeah! #HillaryFor2020 Trump could never win against such a paragon of virtue as @HillaryClinton
— Oldvillain (@oldvillain) December 24, 2017
Maybe Hillary 2020 wouldn’t be such a bad idea.
