President Trump lashed out at deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe, who abruptly decided to retire amid bombshell revelations of rampant partisan bias and unprofessionalism at the bureau.
“FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is racing the clock to retire with full benefits,” Trump tweeted Saturday. “90 days to go?!!!”

Trump made reference to the $700,000 McCabe’s wife reportedly received from a Clinton-aligned group in 2015 when she was running for a state Senate seat in Virginia.
McCabe was later involved in the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server, which resulted in no criminal charges despite a mountain of indictment-worthy evidence.
McCabe recused himself from that probe only after his wife’s alliance and financial ties to Hillary were revealed by the media.

Critics say these Democratic ties tainted McCabe’s ability to be impartial toward President Trump. This criticism gained steam amid explosive revelations that the upper levels of the FBI are stacked with Obama holdovers who hate Trump.

News of McCabe’s sudden retirement surfaced this week as he was giving Congressional testimony about his dubious role in the Clinton email investigation. McCabe, 49, is waiting a few months to retire so he can accrue full pension benefits.

Meanwhile, the FBI has come under fire amid epic screw-ups that suggest the bureau is too partisan to do their jobs properly, especially with respect to investigating the “Trump-Russia” collusion.
After a year-long probe, special counsel Robert Mueller has still provided no evidence of collusion between Trump campaign staffers and Russian officials.

Especially troubling are the 10,000 text messages exchanged between senior FBI agent Peter Strzok and another Mueller team member: FBI attorney Jill Page, with whom Strzok was having an affair.
Strzok and Page exchanged countless anti-Trump, pro-Hillary texts while working together on Robert Mueller’s Trump investigation.

One of the most incriminating texts revealed that Strzok, his lover, and Andrew McCabe had discussed how to keep Trump from winning the presidential election and undermining him if he did.
“[Deputy FBI Director] Andrew McCabe was present when the FBI hatched a scheme to deprive Donald Trump of the presidency both before and after his election,” Congressman Matt Gaetz told Fox News. “That is totally unacceptable, and it poses a clear and present danger to our democracy.”
