Now that Hillary Clinton’s political career hasn’t panned out as she’d hoped, she’s dipped into the music industry.
On Monday night’s “Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” correspondents Desi Lydic and Dulcé Sloan attempted to show off their music abilities in a video oozing with what passes for humor in liberal circles. The “epic” social justice anthem is titled “Song for Women.”
The highly-charged political song topped off its pro-feminist message with a cameo solo by none other than failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“Yo Hillary Clinton, take us home,” Sloan said. The scene then cut to a recording studio, where the former Secretary of State wailed into the microphone with what looked like an expression of pain.
Clinton’s drawn-out “ohh” accompanied the rapping in the final portion of the song, though her singing voice was curiously unlike anything she had previously been heard to utter–suggesting lip syncing.
If Clinton did use another singer’s voice, she would ironically be rigging her own musical performance–after so many charges of trying to “rig” the election.
The Clinton appearance was the climax of an anthem that rolled together all the left-wing tropes from 2017, including references to the Women’s March, Elizabeth Warren’s “persistence,” and Saudi women being given the right to drive.
Of course, there were the pathetic jabs at President Trump.
Of the women’s march, Sloan sang “Marching hand-in-hand to show that p***y grabber with a terrible tan.”
The two female correspondents were accompanied by “‘Daily Show” regular Michael Kosta in the role of “DJ Mansplain”–a critique of men’s perceived “talking down” to women.
But it was Clinton’s cameo that made the video memorable–not as a rally cry for female empowerment, but as further evidence that the iconic Democrat doesn’t have a “hip” bone in her body.
If Clinton expected this to be her “Bill Clinton plays saxophone on Arsenio Hall” moment, she was sadly mistaken.
Hillary would do well to keep to her day job. But then, that’s the problem. Since losing the election, she doesn’t have one!
