Jesse Watters sparks massive frenzy for using the ‘C’ word on air. No, not that ‘C’ word!

Leading off his Saturday night show on Fox News, host Jesse Watters spoke directly to the root of the anti-Trump deep state forces implanted inside investigatory agencies like the FBI, and liberal media outlets are predictably freaking out about it.

It’s quite literally a “coup” against the president, Watters said, and the “smoking gun” is there for all to see.

Defining the FBI as now a “part of the Resistance,” the Fox News host specifically mentioned several of the anti-Trump text messages between agent Peter Strzok and his girlfriend, another FBI agent, text messages that go far beyond mere political preference.

Put it this way, when the “lead agent on Robert Mueller’s team investigating Donald Trump agreed that it was his job to ‘protect the country from that menace’ [meaning Trump],” what reasonable person wouldn’t think partisanship could possibly be a problem?

“It’s like the FBI had Michael Moore investigating the president of the United States,” Watters said. “This is smoking gun evidence that the FBI agents investigating Donald Trump believe that it was their duty to protect the country from his presidency, and they had a plan in place to achieve their goal.”

April Ryan finally gets her pie, and it changes everything!

Although the agent was eventually removed from the investigation, the “damage was already done” as he had apparently already seen to it that Hillary Clinton was off the hook.

“The investigation into Donald Trump’s campaign has been crooked from the jump,” said Watters before calling for a Congressional investigation into the matter. “But the scary part is we may now have proof the investigation was weaponized to destroy his presidency for partisan political purposes and to disenfranchise millions of American voters. Now if that’s true, we have a coup on our hands in America.”

Like clockwork, liberal media outlets reacted to Watters’ ‘Words’ with the predictable vitriol. In a piece describing how “Fox News has recently ramped up its frenzied rhetorical war against special counsel Robert Mueller and the FBI in general,” New York Magazine wrote, “On Saturday evening, Jesse Watters and the network’s chyron writers went above and beyond even the usual Fox bombast. During Watters’ World, Jesse Watters railed against Peter Strzok, who was removed from the Mueller investigation after it was revealed that he had sent anti-Trump texts.”

Mediaite and Slate both emphasized the “coup” aspect of Watters’ argument by showing the clip below during Watters’ interview with Kellyanne Conway:

And there was plenty of negative Twitter reaction from the hysterical left who, perhaps, believe Watters is getting a bit too close to the truth…

Even pretend-conservative anti-Trump egghead Evan McMullin got in on the action:

Justin Trudeau not the only one gushing, European leaders call President Trump courageous

To paraphrase a line from Shakespeare, “thou dost protest too much, methinks…”
