Navy midshipmen wasted no time mocking West Point cadets at Saturday’s annual Army-Navy football game, reminding the Army of the communist among their ranks.
Holding signs that read “Not Communist” and “Communism Won’t Win,” the ribbing was in reference to U.S. Army Officer 2nd Lt. Spenser Rapone, a recent graduate from West Point who is a self-avowed communist.
Remember this West Point cadet that famously said "Communism will Win"
Well, Navy sure had fun with that today

Rapone’s claim to fame is posting photos of himself promoting communism during his West Point graduation ceremony — the cadet revealed a Che Guevara T-shirt under his uniform and the message “Communism Will Win” under his cap.

Not only did Navy midshipmen counter with their own signs, they reportedly started chanting “Communists” when West Point cadets would begin a motivational chant to cheer their team on, The Daily Caller reported.

The game did get off to an inspirational start when members from both sides came together to deliver a touching rendition of the national anthem that puts the NFL to shame.

While communist may not win, unfortunately for the midshipmen, Army did, winning the game, 14-13, when Navy missed a field goal on the final play.

And while it was all good-natured fun, Lt. Rapone’s political beliefs are a more serious matter, as seen when Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., whose parents were forced to flee from Cuba because of communists, called on the Army to nullify Rapone’s commission.
