Hollywood's reaction to Al Franken resignation is utter hypocrisy in light of its sex abuse scourge

Democrats would like America to believe they’re the morally superior party, but do their actions back them up?

Liberals’ reaction to the sexual allegations and ultimate resignation of Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) has served as a litmus test for the left’s true morality.

Following Franken’s official resignation announcement on Thursday, many left-wing celebrities took to social media to voice their outrage, suggesting a greater concern for politicking than for their self-proclaimed moral crusade.

Actor-comedian Tom Arnold blasted Franken accuser Leeann Tweeden, claiming Trump allies “coached” her to destroy the Senator’s reputation.

Actress Alyssa Milano, who has been a prominent figure in the #MeToo movement, used the occasion of Franken’s resignation to go after Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore and President Trump.

At the very same time that we are asking Franken to resign from senate — we are allowing an accused child molester to run for senate.

Milano’s tweet represented what many conservatives believe to be the real motivation behind the push to oust Franken. With Franken and Dem Rep. John Conyers forced out over sexual harassment charges, liberals will be free to attack Roy Moore and Trump with a “clean slate” so-to-speak.

Actor Josh Gad was on it, and went so far as to lavish praise on Franken before setting his sights on the President.

Good on #AlFranken for doing the right thing. Now let me remind everyone that a man who openly brags about grabbing women by the pussy is still our President while campaigning for an accused child molester who looks like he’s going to win a Senate seat.
