Actual descendant of Pocahontas: If she were alive today, ‘she’d be very proud of President Trump’

Debbie “White Dove” Porreco is a descendant of Pocahontas.

An actual descendant of Pocahontas is a Trump supporter who’s not offended by the president calling Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas” to mock her fake Native American heritage.

“If Pocahontas were alive today, she’d be very proud of President Trump,” Debbie “White Dove” Porreco told Sky News (video below).

“Just like Pocahontas was a heroine, Donald Trump is going to be our hero.”

Sky News contrasted Porreco’s remarks with those of actress Irene Bedard, who voiced Pocahontas in the animated Disney film.

“Do I think Pocahontas would be a fan of Trump? Oh no,” Bedard said.

But Debbie Porreco — who was the model for Disney’s Pocahontas character — said Trump asked her if she minds that he invokes her ancestor’s name to call attention to Elizabeth Warren’s lies.

“He said, ‘Does that offend you when I use that?’ I told him no, it doesn’t offend me,” Porreco recalled.

Porreco’s first cousin, singer Wayne Newton (who’s also Native American), endorsed President Trump during the 2016 election.

During her thirties, Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren claimed she was Native American to benefit from affirmative action hiring programs intended for real Native Americans.

In 2012, Warren admitted that she had told Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania she was Native American while applying for teaching jobs. Not surprisingly, she was quickly recruited by both schools, which proudly touted her fake background in its PR materials.

The media have relentlessly pushed the narrative that Native Americans are furious at Trump, all while ignoring Warren’s shameless cultural appropriation and marginalization of another’s heritage to advance her career.

Navajo Code Walker: Trump Didn’t Offend Me

When Bloomberg reporter Joshua Green asked Thomas Begay — one of the Navajo code talkers honored by President Trump this week — if he was offended by the “Pocahontas” remark, he said no.

“The Marines made us yell ‘Geronimo’ when we jumped out of planes, and that didn’t offend me either,” Begay laughed.
