Sarah Sanders has come under increasing fire for doing the White House press secretary’s typical job of defending the administration from media attacks.

As LA Times’ columnist David Horsey maturely put it, “Sanders looks more like a slightly chunky soccer mom who organizes snacks for the kids’ games.” He was roundly blasted for the sexist, body-shaming remark.
After apologizing for the remark, the LA Times has been no less pointed in its criticism, running cartoons like these:
Keep it classy, David Horsey.
Sanders’ press conferences have also triggered liberal television commentators like Mika Brzezinski, who exploded on air Tuesday.
“What’s wrong with her? Why does she do that job? How can she look in the mirror every day and say, ‘I am doing the right thing for the American people?’ Because you are not — you are not,” Brzezinski said.
Recently, White House reporters have lobbed increasingly personal shots at the “bully” Sanders, as detailed in a recent Washington Examiner report.
“[S]he’s serving a function other than communication, which turns out not to be her forte,” NY Times columnist Frank Bruni wrote. “To listen to her pronounce ‘priorities’ is akin to hearing the air seep out of a flat tire, and she leaves half of the consonants on the curb.”
The icing on the cake for political potshots may not have come from liberal commentators, but from a Republican consultant. Rick Wilson, to be precise. On CNN, Wilson laid into Sanders with excoriating terms that would make a leftist blush.

“Her job is contingent upon her being a serial congenital liar in defense of Donald Trump’s latest outrages,” Wilson said on CNN.
“I mean, she probably has some like tiny, shriveled husk left in her soul where she realizes this is the wrong thing to do. But she does it anyway because otherwise they’ll replace her.”
The hubbub is that Sanders had the audacity to defend President Trump’s reference to Sen. Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas” at a Navajo Code Talkers tribute.
Just how “shrunken” is Sarah Sanders’ soul? Let’s take a look at her at the White House’s Thanksgiving celebration with her 4-year-old son Huck.
Americans cheer as official WH Christmas card is unveiled and it’s definitely NOT like the Obama’s

He looks absolutely mortified, right?

The winds of change in Washington are blowing hard.

Here Huck is screaming in anguish… but not because he is petrified by being with his mother, as a mainstream media hit piece might have it. The photo was snapped as the president and first lady were leaving to go to Mar-a-Lago for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Townhall editor Katie Pavlich was spot on with her critique of the hypocritical press’s reaction:
Naturally, White House Press Corps is far more outraged over Trump calling out Warren for faking her heritage than they are over Warren faking her heritage.

That’s what it all boils down to for people like Sarah Sanders. When the press screams the loudest, that’s when you know you’ve hit its soft spot.
