The basket-brawl between LaVar Ball and President Trump has escalated once again.
“Did he go visit them in jail?” Ball asked ABC News producer Michael Del Moro. “If you went to visit them in jail then I would say, ‘thank you.’”
Ball said he wasn't inclined to get into a back-and-forth with the President's tweets, but said: “Did he go visit them in jail? Did you go visit them in jail? If you went to visit them in jail then I would say, ‘thank you’"

Ball refuses to give President Trump any credit for securing the release of his son LiAngelo Ball, who was arrested in China for shoplifting with his two UCLA basketball teammates, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill.
Trump — who was on a five-nation Asia tour at the time — personally intervened on behalf of the UCLA shoplifters by making a special request to Chinese President Xi Jinping to let them go.
Shoplifting is a serious offense in China, which has a long history of human-rights abuses, so the UCLA athletes could easily have rotted in jail for years had Trump not intervened.
At a press conference last week, all three athletes thanked President Trump for his help. However, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, said there’s no reason to thank Trump at all.
The president got so annoyed by Ball’s trash-talking that he blasted the ungrateful dad on Twitter, saying he should have let Ball’s son rot in jail.
Predictably, liberals reacted to President Trump’s tweetstorm by claiming he’s racist. They conveniently ignored the fact that Trump had personally intervened on behalf of three black youths.
In contrast, former president Barack Obama let Otto Warmbier (who was white) rot in a North Korean jail for 17 months before Trump intervened to bring him home. By that time, it was too late: Warmbier mysteriously died of brain damage at age 22 amid reports he had been tortured during his jail stint.
Many on Twitter smacked down race-baiting liberals like Democratic Congressman Jim Himes and CNN hack Brian Stelter, who called Trump a racist.
President Trump claps back at anyone who attacks him, regardless of their race. That may not be mature, but it sure ain’t racist.

Others pointed out that LaVar Ball’s fathering skills need work if he condones stealing, especially when you do it while representing your school and your country in a foreign land.
Many African-Americans agreed that President Trump deserved praise for intervening with Chinese President Xi on behalf of American shoplifters who embarrassed their country.
First LaVar Ball picks a fight with Michael Jordan and now President Trump and I'm trying to figure out what demographic group he's trying to sell sneakers to. Meanwhile, his son could have grown old in a Chinese prison. For Real
