Video: Hot hero hailed for tossing manspreading thug off subway after he punched a woman in the face

A New York City hero tossed a thug off the subway after he allegedly punched a woman when she asked him to stop “manspreading.”

“I heard the lady say, ‘Don’t touch me, don’t touch me.’ I looked over and the man hit her,” Victor Conde told ABC News. “That’s when I ran over and tried to help.”

Conde, 29, grabbed the assailant’s wrists and ordered him to get off the train at the next stop. A subway rider caught the aftermath of the attack on video and posted it to social media.

On Saturday, New York City police arrested Derek Smith, 56, for the assault, the NY Daily News reported. Police say Smith has two prior arrests, including one for sex abuse.

The incident unfolded at 7:45 a.m. Thursday morning on a Brooklyn subway train. Samantha Saia, 37, was upset that Derek Smith “manspread” next to her (that means he spread his legs far apart and crowded her in the seat).

Saia claims she asked Smith to give her a little room. Witnesses said that’s when Smith exploded in a racist rant, shouting: “B-tch, you ain’t nothing! I’ve raped white b–ches like you, f-cken c–t!”

Smith than allegedly punched Saia in the mouth and banged her head against the train car. Passenger Victor Conde was furious when he saw the attack, and jumped out of his seat to help.

“I was mad that he hit her and no one else on the train did anything,” Conde said. “I got in his face and confronted him. I told him I was an off-duty officer to defuse the situation and he changed his tune. He was a sick individual.”

Conde is now being hailed a hero for his bravery. He is not a cop but is a federal government employee.

This latest subway attack isn’t surprising to New Yorkers. Ever since Democrat Bill de Blasio was elected NYC mayor in 2013, subway crimes have soared.

When de Blasio was voted into office, he ran on a platform to champion the poor, but his mayorship has been a disaster on every level.

Anecdotally, New Yorkers say the streets are dirtier, crime has spiked, infrastructure has crumbled and the subways are filthier and more crowded than ever before. Moreover, homeless has skyrocketed to record highs under de Blasio.

Ungrateful basketball dad LaVar Ball fires back at Trump: ‘Did he go visit them in jail?’

Indeed, homelessness in New York — one of the richest cities in the world and home to a record 79 billionaires — is at its highest point since the Great Depression. Thanks de Blasio!
