“Do as I say, not as I do” is one of the chief slogans from the Democrat playbook, and it’s on full display in the left’s attacks on Alabama Republican senate candidate Roy Moore.
Every time CNN and the rest of the liberal media attack Roy Moore, he gets stronger. They don't seem to realize that most intelligent people see right through their lies and propaganda. They are virtually ensuring his election to the Senate.#BoycottKeurig #CNNsotu pic.twitter.com/vk8aABN4nO

Democrats have no qualms about calling for Moore’s withdrawal from the race over sexual misconduct allegations–even though none of the accusations have been proved.
So much for innocent-until-proven guilty.
As conservatives are rightly pointing out, there is much less of a rush to condemn from the left when it comes to one of their own who’s facing very hefty accusations–Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), who’s currently on trial for corruption and bribery charges.

I’m calling out the the Left for pure hypocrisy in their treatment of Judge Roy Moore vs. the far more serious & RECENT Robert Menendez scandal. We know EXACTLY why they aren’t calling for Sen. Menendez to Resign: They don’t want Chris Christie to install an interim GOP Senator. pic.twitter.com/BskfIQJSFD

In fact, Democrats can’t even bring themselves to answer the simple question of whether Menendez should resign IF he is found guilty.
Look at DNC Chair Tom Perez continually repeatedly refuse to answer.
And then there’s beloved progressive icon Bernie Sanders, who skirts the question like a champ.
New Jersey’s Democratic Governor-elect, who will have the authority to replace Menendez with an interim Senator should he be sentenced, has also avoided stating whether he believes the scandal-ridden lawmaker should step down if found guilty.
Naturally, it’s all the game of politics for Democrats. If they can get a political candidate to step down due to accusations alone–without proof of guilty–then expect such allegations to become more common in the future.
It’s what they tried to do with President Trump, when he was met with last-minute “sexual assault” accusations a month before the 2016 election.
If Democrats are serious about wanting Republicans to “purge” their party of scandal, they should take a good, hard look in the mirror and start with themselves.
