Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson shut down an illegal alien and self-proclaimed “lawyer” who demands that illegals like him have the same rights as U.S. citizens.
California is officially devolving into a third-world socialist hellhole as illegals and alt-left anarchists have taken over.
On October 5, California’s Democratic governor Jerry Brown signed a bill making California a “sanctuary state,” meaning it will openly defy federal immigration laws and protect illegal aliens. There are an estimated 2.3 million illegals living in California.
And how did California’s community of illegal ingrates respond to that gesture? By staging a protest in Los Angeles that blocked streets and kept law-abiding Americans from going to work or getting home to their families.
Tucker said Democrats and the mainstream media — which are 97% liberal — always portray illegals as “doctors, engineers, valedictorians, Eagle Scouts and Navy Seals.”
That narrative is false. Look around you: Many illegals are not well-educated, and those that work hold menial jobs. Most don’t add to the United States; they drain it.
Tucker schooled illegal alien Cesar Vargas, who’s reportedly the first illegal immigrant lawyer in the state of New York. Vargas said the DACA protesters in L.A. had a right to block traffic and protest even though they’re in the country illegally. “They have a constitutional right to express their opinions,” Vargas bleated.
Carlson retorted: “No, stop! They don’t have a constitutional right to block me from getting to work in the middle of a public street, or me getting home to see my kids. It’s annoying, it’s illegal, it’s indefensible.”
Carlson said if what the DACA protesters did was legal, why did they get arrested? “Why were they arrested?” Tucker asked Vargas. “You’re a ‘lawyer.'”
The clueless Vargas had no response, except to repeat his talking point that illegals have a right to protest. Why don’t they go back home to protest whatever’s wrong with their native countries that caused them to flee to America?
Tucker replied: “If I tried this in Mexico, or Venezuela, Honduras, Nicaragua, China, name a country … that would be insane! If I showed up in someone else’s country and said, ‘I have a right to influence your political system,’ no one would put up with that!”
He continued: “By definition, non-citizens do not have a right to influence our legislative system. Only citizens have that right. That’s the difference between a citizen and a non-citizen. And you’re trying to erase it. You can see why American citizens might resent that.”
Carlson pointed out the hypocrisy of liberals who are outraged by unsubstantiated claims that Russia may have influenced the 2016 election but gleefully allow illegal aliens to shape our laws and politics.
“The reason people are upset is because Russians are not Americans. Why is this different?” Carlson said. “According to you, Russians have a First-Amendment right to block me on my way home.”
Carlson then concluded by stating the obvious: If you’re in the country illegally, you have no right to decide our laws or run our country.
“If you’re not an American citizen, you don’t get to run my country,” Tucker said. “That’s why there’s a difference between citizens and non-citizens. There’s no other country in the world that would put up with this kind of nonsense. But we’re too nice, and therefore, we do.”
Many on Twitter said it’s ridiculous for illegals to make demands of a country whose laws they are breaking with their very presence.
Tucker is right: No other country would put up with this cr*p.
