White House press secretary Sarah Sanders has the toughest job in Washington.

At her daily press briefings, Sanders faces a hostile press that acts more like a firing squad as they bombard her with biased questions. This is a stark contrast to the sycophantic pandering the media did for 8 years during Barack Obama’s presidency.

On Monday, Sanders deftly responded to inane anti-Trump questions from the mainstream media — which are 97% liberal — about the president’s comments that NFL players should respect the national anthem.

Instead of focusing on the economy, healthcare, escalating Islamist terrorism, and North Korea, the press fired off a series of idiotic comments masquerading as “questions” defending spoiled NFL stars who disrespect the Star-Spangled Banner.

Here are the top 5 dumbest media moments from the September 25 White House press briefing (h/t Raw Story):

(1) CNN’s head clown Jim Acosta suggests that President Trump’s statement about respecting the national anthem is racist and asks if he is trying to start a “culture war.”

Sanders responds: “The President is not talking about race. The President is talking about pride in our country. What you saw yesterday were players and fans of all races joining together as Americans to honor our servicemembers.”

Duh, Jim.

(2) MSNBC hack Hallie Jackson asks: “Does the President have a problem with the First Amendment?”

Keep in mind that liberals censor and beat up conservatives while the media covers for them.

Sanders replied: “Not at all. The President is simply stating that pride in our country is a good thing. It’s something that we should all celebrate. Standing up for the national anthem is a symbol of that.”

(3) Fox News Radio’s anti-Trump reporter Jon Decker: “When he tweets something, does it take away from his legislative agenda?”

Sanders dismissed this as ridiculous. “No, I don’t, because it’s important for a President to show patriotism, to be a leader on this issue. And he has.”

(4) ABC News’ resident Trump hater Cecilia Vega: “Does the President believe that there are ‘very fine people’ who kneeled yesterday watching those games? Or are they all SOBs?”

Sanders replied: “You’re trying to conflate different things here. We certainly respect the rights that people have, but … this isn’t about the President being against something. This is about the President being for something. This is about the President being for respecting our country through symbols like the American flag, like the national anthem.”

(5) Sirus XM’s leftist hack Jared Rizzi talks Kaepernick

Rizzi said: “When Colin Kaepernick says that his protest is about fighting police brutality, fighting racial disparity, racial injustice, you’re not taking him at his word. But when white supremacists say that their protest is about heritage and not hate, the President does take them at their word. So why is there this disparity about who gets to decide what protest is about?”

Sanders: “If the debate is really, for them, about police brutality, they should probably protest the officers on the field that are protecting them instead of the American flag.”

Mic drop.

Every weekend, there are numerous shootings/murders in Chicago, the hometown of Barack Obama — the nation’s first African-American president. Almost all are black-on-black crimes.
