President Donald Trump said he would love if NFL owners fired football players who refuse to stand for the national anthem.
“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners — when somebody disrespects our flag — to say, ‘Get that son of a b-tch off the field right now! He’s fired,’ ” Trump said. “Some owner is going to do that.”
The president added: “We’re proud of our country and we’re proud of our flag.”
Trump drew raucous applause for the remarks, which he made while stumping for Senator Luther Strange at a political rally in Huntsville, Alabama.
Trump said NFL players who disrespect the flag are “ruining the game.”
And he’s right: NFL ratings have tanked, coinciding with the protests led by unemployed quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who refuses to stand during the national anthem. Other NFL players have since joined in the protest.

The anti-American demonstrations have had dire consequences on both the National Football League and the networks that carry NFL games. Attendance at this week’s game featuring Kaepernick’s old team, the San Francisco 49ers, showed an almost-empty stadium.
Many fans have started boycotting the NFL in response to players dissing the Star-Spangled Banner.

President Trump said the fans will decide whether unpatriotic NFL players end their leftist baloney, which many NFL legends say doesn’t belong on the football field.
“The only thing you could do better, is if you see it — even if it’s just one player [refusing to stand] — leave the stadium,” he urged. “I guarantee things will stop. Things will stop. Just pick up and leave. It’s not the same game anymore anyway.”
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell responded with this wimpy statement:

Predictably, race-baiting Twitter moonbats slammed the president’s remarks and tried to twist it into a racial comment while ignoring that 70% of NFL players are black.
Add “black NFL players exercising their First Amendment right” to the list of people Trump has criticized more harshly than Vladimir Putin.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr. and other patriotic Americans applauded POTUS for standing up for the national anthem.

They can do it in the locker room. I’ve served for that flag/anthem and lost brothers and sisters for the same!
