Kaepernick comes SO close to new NFL deal, then BLM activist girlfriend dashes dreams with ‘racist’ tweet

For months supporters of free agent NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick have threatened to boycott the NFL if the controversial player was not signed to a team.

They even protested outside of NFL headquarters in an effort to pressure a team to give him a job. But their efforts might have been better spent protesting outside of the home of Kaepernick’s girlfriend.

According to Ray Lewis, the Baltimore Ravens were prepared to sign Kaepernick until his girlfriend, radio personality and militant Black Lives Matter supporter Nessa Diab, tweeted an image of Lewis and Raven’s owner Steve Bisciotti that likened them to a slave and master.

The image was of Lewis hugging Biscotti accompanied by Samuel L. Jackson as a slave character in “Django Unchained,” hugging Leonardo DiCaprio’s plantation owner character.

“We were going to close the deal to sign him,” Lewis said on Tuesday night during an appearance on Showtime’s “Inside the NFL.” “Steve Bisciotti said, ‘I want to hear Colin Kaepernick speak to let me know that he wants to play football.'”

“And it never happens because that picture comes up the next day,” Lewis said.

The tweet was sent on Aug. 2 as the ravens were deciding if they wanted to sign Kaepernick.

“His girl [Diab] goes out and put out this racist gesture and doesn’t know we are in the back office about to try to get this guy signed,” Lewis recalled. “Steve Bisciotti has said it himself: ‘How can you crucify Ray Lewis when Ray Lewis is the one calling for Colin Kaepernick?'”

Kaepernick’s girlfriend did not stop her tweeting when the news broke.

Rather, she decided to refer to President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida as a “plantation,” because in her mind anything owned by a white man is a plantation apparently, and asked if taxpayers ought to rebuild it if it is destroyed by Hurricane Irma.
