Octogenarian senator John McCain has lost his damn mind again.
Spotlighting the need for term limits, the six-term career politician trashed President Trump at an economic and policy forum in Italy.

“America is still committed to remaining engaged in the world, to upholding our traditional alliances, and standing up for the values we share … [despite] the actions and statements of our president,” McCain said.
The Bitter Betty made the remarks while pandering to globalists at the Ambrosetti Forum in tony Lake Como, Italy (where fellow anti-Trump moonbat George Clooney lives part-time).

The 81-year-old Arizona senator — who has been in office for 31 years — attended the posh event with his BFF and fellow anti-Trump RINO, Senator Lindsay Graham.
McCain said he’s unsure of America’s future under President Trump, but underscored that the United States will continue to be a leader on the world stage. No duh.
“There is a real debate underway now in my country about what kind of role America should play in the world,” McCain said. “And frankly, I do not know how this debate will play out. The future of the world will turn, to a large extent, on how this debate in America is resolved.”
McCain added that despite some things President Trump may tweet, the United States remains committed to its allies. Again: duh.Â
“It may not look that way on Twitter, but that is what opinion polls clearly show, time after time after time,” he said.
This is not the first time John McCain has trashed his own president, both abroad and in the U.S. In July, McCain voted against repealing Obamacare despite promising to do so for the past seven years.
In fact, McCain had campaigned for re-election on the lie that he would dismantle the imploding, bloated healthcare program. In the end, he cast the deciding vote to keep Obamacare in place.
In June, McCain told the U.K. Guardian — a liberal foreign newspaper —  that American  leadership was better under Barack Obama than under Trump. At the time, Trump had only been in office for five months. Jumping to conclusions much?
It is time for McCain to retire and ride off into the sunset to make room for new GOP lawmakers who support their party and their president. With “allies” like these, who needs enemies?
