Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s latest steps in his new career direction will apparently require no fancy dance moves.
Reportedly getting ready to sign a major television deal, Spicer signed with Bob Barnett, a prominent lawyer who represents politicians and TV news personalities, the New York Post’s Page Six reported.

The former press secretary, who resigned at the end of July when President Trump brought in Anthony Scaramucci as communications director, had been in meetings with several major TV and news networks last week, sources told Page Six. He was also reportedly sought after by Hollywood talent agencies.
The meetings must have led to something more interesting as there was no indication Spicer would be returning to the White House following Scaramucci’s ouster earlier this week.
Speculation grew about Spicer joining the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars,” but he apparently turned down the ABC offer after talking it over with his wife, a source told Page Six.
Spicer signed with Barnett and Michael O’Connor of Washington-based law firm Williams & Connolly on Thursday, choosing Barnett due to his reputation representing politicians and TV correspondents.
Neil Cavuto, Christiane Amanpour, Brit Hume, Andrea Mitchell, Brian Williams, Steve Doocy and Cynthia McFadden are some of Barnett’s many media clients. He has also represented Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Madeleine Albright, Ben Bernanke and others who have transitioned from the government spotlight to the private sector, including clients cutting book deals like Obama, Clinton, Bush, Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama and Sarah Palin.
A book deal could be in Spicer’s future and the the attorneys will represent him in that endeavor as well as all speaking appearances, television deals and any business consulting he may do in his post White House career, sources told Page Six.
Barnett was not able to be reached by Page Six and Spicer did not comment, according to the publication.
Reaction was mixed on social media as Twitter users couldn’t agree on whether more Spicer would be a good thing or not.
