Pressure’s on! DWS reportedly a nervous wreck since IT staffer arrest, barely ‘able to function’

Is she losing it?

A growing number of reports allege that former Democrat National Committee Chair Debbie Wassermann Shultz is having some sort of nervous breakdown as an investigation involving one of her DNC staffers heats up.

The Daily Caller has been leading the investigation into former DNC staffers who allegedly raked in millions of taxpayers dollars for doing very little on the books. The FBI recently arrested Imran Awan at the Dulles Airport after he wired nearly $300,000 to Pakistan.

The news apparently has Wasserman Schultz unnerved as she was seen dodging a Daily Caller reporter on Capitol steps on Wednesday, The DC reported.

No doubt the pressure is heating up, and BPR has been chronicling the story thanks to the excellent investigative reporting by the Daily Caller.

Reports have emerged that former Democrat National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz is avoiding reporters and having a mental break down following the arrest of her IT staffer.

A spokesperson for Wasserman Schultz told the Miami Herald that she would not answer questions about Imran Awan, the staffer who wired nearly $250,000 to Pakistan before being arrested attempting to flee to that nation, according to the D.C.

“Mr. Awan previously served as a part-time employee but his services have been terminated,” her spokesman David Damron said in a statement to the media after Awan was apprehended. “No charges, evidence or findings from the investigation have been formally shared with our office, so we cannot comment on them.”

But that didn’t answer the question as to why Awan stayed employed by Wasserman Schultz after other representatives fired him.

“After details of the investigation were reviewed with us, my office was provided no evidence to indicate that laws had been broken, which over time, raised troubling concerns about due process, fair treatment and potential ethnic and religious profiling,” Wasserman Schultz said in a statement. “Upon learning of his arrest, he was terminated.”

Too little too late?

Feedback on social media would indicate so.

The White House called for a “thorough investigation” on Thursday, while WikiLeaks released an email purportedly tying Awan to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Which might be why some prominent people, including former NYPD Officer John Cardillo who said he lives just outside her district, have reported some strange behavior from Wasserman Schultz.

Townhall columnist Kurt Schlichter was also seemed privy to some news.

The Daily Caller reported that it has heard from witnesses that Wasserman Schultz has been “jumpy” since Awan was nabbed at an airport attempting to flee to Pakistan.
