President Donald Trump was a big hit Monday evening at the Boy Scouts of America’s National Jamboree.
As for his predecessor, former President Barack Obama, eh, not so much.

The president took a jab at Obama while addressing the crowd of well over 40,000, prompting a chorus of boos.
“By the way, just a question. Did President Obama ever come to a jamboree?” Trump asked. “The answer is no, but we’ll be back.”
…to the delight of the crowd chanting: “We love Trump! We love Trump!”
“Boy, you have a lot of people here,” Trump said to the crowd, before getting a shot in at the media. “The press will say it’s about 200 people.”
A video was posted later on Trump’s Twitter feed, giving viewers a backstage look at the throng of people on hand.
“#2017Jambo– Remember your duty. Honor your history. Take care of the people God puts into your life – and LOVE & CHERISH your country!” the accompanying caption read.

Politics peppered his speech, even though Trump said at one point, “Who the hell wants to speak about politics when I’m in front of the Boy Scouts?”

“As the scout law says, a scout is trustworthy, loyal,” he told the massive crowd. “We could use some more loyalty, I will tell you that.”
The president was joined on stage by Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price, Energy Secretary Rick Perry and Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke.
He noted that 10 of his cabinet members were Boy Scouts, including Price, Perry and Zinke.

Trump commented on Tuesday’s expected vote in the Senate to repeal Obamacare, poking fun at Price in the process.
“Hopefully he’s going to get the votes tomorrow to start our path toward killing this horrible thing known as Obamacare that’s really hurting us,” the president said.
