ABC reporter recounts Spicer’s reaction when asked about Scaramucci appointment – not good

Sean Spicer resigned as White House Press Secretary on Friday, ending his tumultuous relationship with the media.

Spicer was widely reported to be angry at the hiring of New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as the Trump administration’s new communications director, the New York Times reported.

Scaramucci was reportedly hired directly by President Donald Trump to the objections of White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon.

ABC News’ Jonathan Karl said on Twitter that when he went to ask Spicer about Scaramucci’s hiring he slammed the door in the reporter’s face.

Democrat anti-President Trump activist and California Rep. Maxine Waters was the first to welcome Spicer to the #Resistance.
