The fake-news shills at CNN could be in big trouble. Yuuuuge.

The hashtag “CNN Blackmail” was the top trending topic on Twitter after CNN bragged about threatening to dox a private citizen for creating the comical WWE meme that showed President Trump body-slamming a CNN logo.

CNN hack Andrew Kaczynski boasted that he had tracked down and bullied a Reddit user called HanAssholeSolo who took credit for the video online.

Fake News CNN brags about threatening Reddit user

CNN’s Kaczynski claimed HanAssholeSolo apologized for creating the jokey WWE meme and deleted his account, including all his posts that mocked the humorless cable news network.

CNN then bragged about suppressing the Reddit user’s Constitutionally-guaranteed free-speech rights on the Fourth of July by threatening to dox him to the world:

CNN is not publishing “HanA**holeSolo’s” name because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again.

In addition, he said his statement could serve as an example to others not to do the same. CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change.

On July 2, CNN threw a hissy-fit after President Trump tweeted this 2007 meme that was modified to show him body-slamming a CORPORATE LOGO OF CNN.

While the appropriateness of President Trump’s tweet was hotly debated by both liberals and conservatives, CNN’s bullying of a private citizen was widely condemned by all sides.

German Lopez, a reporter for liberal website Vox, was disgusted and called CNN’s bullying unethical: “This is basically, ‘don’t post stuff we don’t like or we’ll dox you.’ Extremely unethical.”

Conservative author Ben Shapiro — an attorney who graduated from Harvard Law school — agreed.

“That’s essentially blackmail,” Shapiro wrote. “That’s CNN stating that it will out the guy if he dares to defy their political perspective or offends them sufficiently. The whole story is frightening, and obviously an attempt to both nail Trump and discourage people from smacking CNN.”

Republican Congressman Scott Taylor also trashed CNN. “Pretty sure a line is crossed here,” he tweeted.

The backlash against CNN was volcanic in its condemnation of a multi-billion-dollar news network threatening a private citizen because they want him to stop making comical memes that hurt their wittle feelings.

The hashtag “CNN Blackmail” went viral as users fumed that a so-called journalistic outfit threatened a citizen’s free-speech rights on the birthday of the United States of America.
