While President Donald Trump is draining the swamp, special counsel Robert Mueller is busy filling it back up again.
Mueller — who’s billing taxpayers huge amounts of money to investigate “obstruction of justice” allegations against Trump — has added another liberal, anti-Trump attorney to his team.
In a stunning move, Mueller hired assistant U.S. attorney Andrew Goldstein — an acolyte of fired U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara — to his team of lawyers investigating the president.
Mueller has now stacked his team with a group of Democratic donors and former Obama lawyers, according to multiple press reports. The Special Counsel is supposed to be objective and nonpartisan, but it’s obvious Robert Mueller’s team is anything but.
In June, Mueller hired Jeannie Rhee, a former Clinton Foundation lawyer and assistant attorney general under Barack Obama. FEC reports show 3 out of 5 attorneys on Mueller’s team made huge political donations exclusively to Democrats.
White House counselor Kellyanne Conway has repeatedly objected to this partisan witch hunt, saying President Trump will not get a fair shake because of the massive conflicts of interest. Conway joins a growing chorus of attorneys who say Mueller’s close friendship with fired FBI director James Comey raises serious ethical questions.
The addition of an ally of Preet Bharara — a disgruntled DOJ employee fired by Trump  — has made the swamp of blood-sucking lawyers investigating the president even murkier. Bharara, an Obama appointee like James Comey, regularly bashes Trump on Twitter.
Much of the issue with Trump is not about party, policy or ideology, but lack of decency, honesty, character, temperament, adulthood, shame.

There are now growing calls for Robert Mueller to recuse himself given his close friendship with James Comey and his biased hiring decisions.
In 2006, Mueller recused himself from an FBI investigation when he was FBI director, citing his friendship with someone targeted in the probe. It’s unclear why he won’t do the same now.

Even Alan Dershowitz, a liberal professor at Harvard Law School who voted for Hillary Clinton, said there’s no evidence Trump obstructed justice when he fired Comey.
As president, Trump can fire the FBI director for any reason, especially one appointed by a former president.

Dershowitz and a growing chorus of attorneys, legal scholars, and a bipartisan consensus of Democrat and Republican lawmakers all agree there is also no evidence that the Trump administration colluded with Russia.
Twitter reacted by slamming Mueller’s special counsel investigation as a biased, unethical witch hunt, and renewed their calls for him to step aside.
What we are seeing is the biggest financial raid on public funds. FBI should release the costs per hire.

This is outrageous and a definite conflict! This is a “witch hunt”.

What a colossal waste of time and taxpayer’s money.

That takes the cake. @PreetBharara recently fired by @realDonaldTrump & spoke out vs him in MSM. Now, definitely calling BS on witch hunt.
