“It’s about bloody time!”
With the FBI, the House Intelligence Committee and independent counsel Robert Mueller and his staff all looking into alleged collusion between the Russian government and the Trump presidential campaign, Senate Republicans are shifting gears.

They’re looking into the real scandal — former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s interference into the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email controversy.
After former FBI Director James Comey testified that Lynch had ordered him to publicly refer to his agency’s criminal investigation of the former secretary of state as a “matter,” even liberal Sen. Dianne Feinstein called for a Senate probe.
“I think we need to know more about that,” the California Democrat told CNN last week. “And there’s only one way to know about it, and that’s to have the Judiciary Committee take a look at that.”
And that’s just what Senate Republicans plan to do.
“Frankly, a lot of what Hillary Clinton was exposed to by Director Comey’s misconduct and the way he handled that was apparently in response to his lack of confidence in the attorney general, and I think there is a lot we could learn from that,” Sen. John Cornyn said, according to The Hill.
Therefore, it “would be very helpful” for Lynch to testify before the Judiciary panel, which oversees the Justice Department, the Texas Republican added.
Cornyn is the Number two Senate Republican and is a member of both the Intelligence and Judiciary committees.
A spokesman for Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley said such an investigation is “likely” after Comey’s remarks and ventured that it even “will become necessary at some point.”
The spokesman for the Iowa Republican stressed, however, that no official announcement has been made yet and that staffers needed to “gather evidence” first.
Such a probe has the ringing endorsements of both President Trump and Sen. Lindsey Graham.
The South Carolina Republican is asking that the Judiciary Committee “get more involved.”
“The accusations now that … the current and former attorney general were political — that has nothing to do with Russia as much as it has to do with how the Department of Justice is being run,” he said. “I want to find out all about that.”
On the same subject, Trump tweeted:
A.G. Lynch made law enforcement decisions for political purposes…gave Hillary Clinton a free pass and protection. Totally illegal!

People on social media rubbed their hands in anticipation, and some wondered why stop with Lynch?

Grill her and then put the orange jump suit on her! Maybe she and Hillary can share a jail cell. THEY are the REAL criminals!

By all means GOP focus on her. She was one of Obama’s “Protectors” Hillary’s too! Shameful!

Finally, one made this not-so-bold prediction of the former attorney general: “I refuse to answer on the ground it may tend to incriminate me.”
