Sex and race made Sen. Kamala Harris’ obnoxious behavior at Sessions hearing hero-worthy to libs

Who interrupted whom?

During Tuesday’s appearance of Attorney General Jeff Sessions before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Sen. Kamala Harris tried to play the role of Perry Mason by asking a series of rapid-fire questions. When she was chastised for not allowing Sessions to complete his answers, liberals turned it into an act of ganging up on a poor black woman.

One issue was Sessions’ refusal to answer questions about private meetings he’d had with President Donald Trump.

“Did you consult [Department of Justice policy] before you came before this committee knowing we would ask you questions about it?” the California asked.

“We talked about it,” Sessions said. “The policy is based –”

But Harris wouldn’t allow him to fully answer and cut him off with another question.

“Did you ask that it would be shown to you?” she interrupted.

Sessions ignored Harris and doggedly attempted to complete his answer to her first question — but she continued cutting him off.

“Did you not ask your staff to show you the policy that would be the basis for your refusing to answer the majority of questions that have been asked of you?” she interrupted again.

This clearly frustrated not only Sessions but also other members of the committee.

“Chairman, the witness should be allowed to answer the question,” Sen. John McCain. R-Arizona, can be heard saying off-camera.

This prompted the committee chairman, Richard Burr, into action.

“Senators will allow the chair to control the hearing. Senator Harris, let him answer,” the North Carolina Republican said.

Liberals took to social media to proclaim that it was Harris who was interrupted and silenced — not Sessions — and pointed to a similar instance the week before when she was admonished for doing the same thing during former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony. Time reported:

Conservative author and firebrand Michelle Malkin shot back that it wasn’t Harris who was being interrupted — it was Sessions.

CNN commentator Keith Boykin was immediately called out for his portrayal of her shutout as being racist and sexist.

Still, liberals persisted in pushing the race card — but it wasn’t worling.

Finally conservative author and columnist Ann Coulter put everything into perspective — her number-one talent.

Had Sessions been his predecessor, he would have simply said, “Yeah we met in private … we talked about our grandchildren.”
