Opponents of President Trump’s temporary travel ban will have “blood on their hands” if more Americans are killed or hurt by Islamist terrorist attacks, Texas attorney general Ken Paxton warned.
“The people who have tried to stop [the travel ban] from happening, I think they own it,” Paxton told the Daily Caller. “The blood would be on their hands. You look at what’s going on in Europe. As Texas attorney general, our effort is to stop them from coming here.”
On Monday, the left-wing 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld an injunction on the 90-day travel ban.
Liberals claim it discriminates against Muslims, even though the temporary ban only targets 6 Muslim-majority countries but allows travel from the 44 other Muslim-majority nations around the world. So exactly how is that a “Muslim ban?”

Ken Paxton is leading a coalition of 16 states in support of the travel ban. He says we have to do something to stem the alarming epidemic of terrorist attacks, which have become weekly occurrences in European countries that have large Muslim populations.
“[Terrorist attacks have] happened here before and in Canada, Florida, California, New York, so we all know it can happen,” Paxton said. “So let’s do everything we can to stop this.”

Paxton also pointed out that other presidents—including Barack Obama—have instituted travel bans in the past, and no one said anything about those.
“You know that there have been 44 total travel bans since 1980 by presidents, and these are the only 2 that the courts have ever stopped?” he said. “Obama did 6; no one cared about those.”
