In a story that suggests liberals have too much time on their hands or may just be the inevitable result of weed-induced creativity sessions, the co-founder of the infamous “pussyhats” has another brilliant idea.
Looking to conflate those who enter the United States illegally with the more than one million immigrants who LEGALLY enter the country each year, Jayna Zweiman is following up on the iconic pink hats that became a trademark of the feminist, anti-Trump Women’s March on Washington earlier this year with an immigration blanket.

Called the “Welcome Blanket,” Zweiman hopes to build on that success.
“Pussyhat Project proved that being politically active can take many forms,” Zweiman said, according to Mashable. “Welcome Blanket shows how to create a useful object to give to someone in a way that is kind, engaging, and politically powerful.”
The gist of the gimmick is to knit thousands of blankets from 2,000 miles of yarn — the number representing the projected length of President Donald Trump’s proposed wall along the southern border with Mexico.
The project is the left’s way of saying “welcome” to illegal immigrants who ignore U.S. law. A de facto wet blanket over reality.
Participants are encouraged to include a note sharing their “immigration story” and “words of welcome and advice about living in the US.”
…which may or may not include tips on how to stay one step ahead of ICE agents.
“As people debate methods and numbers concerning immigration, it’s important to remember we are talking about people — people like ourselves, our neighbors, and our ancestors,” Zweiman said… as Michael Jackson’s “We Are The World” quietly plays in the background — I kid, I kid!
“I want people coming to this country to feel valued, because they are,” she added.
Never mind that open-border mantra draws no distinction between legal and illegal.
But then, what else would you expect from liberal zealots armed with crochet needles.
