Obama-appointed judge twists knife into backs of Benghazi families ahead of Memorial Day

A federal Obama-appointed judge used the start of Memorial Day weekend — when we honor our nation’s fallen heroes — to dig the knife in deeper to the families of the four Benghazi victims.

Just ask the father of slain U.S. Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods.

Charles Woods told the hosts of Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” Sunday that he wasn’t at all surprised that U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson dismissed a lawsuit he and Patricia Smith, mother of Sean Smith filed last summer.

And by dismissing the lawsuit, Berman Jackson let former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton off the hook of any responsibility for the assault that led to four American lives lost.

The lawsuit alleged that the use of Clinton’s private, unprotected email server contributed in the attack on the U.S., foreign mission in Benghazi, Libya resulting in the wrongful death of the four Americans.

Woods and Smith also sought damages for defamation of character when Clinton implied that they lied about things Clinton had said when the bodies of the victims were brought back home.

The elder Woods, a former administrative law judge, observed that defamation is an issue of fact to be determined by a jury — not a judge.

“The judge decides issues of law,” he said. “This should have been submitted to the jury.”

He indicated that both claims — wrongful death and defamation — will be appealed.

“The emails that were hacked allowed the attack to be planned because the location and itinerary of the ambassador [Chris Stevens] was made known in advance,” Woods said, after noting another death that resulted from Clinton’s non-secure server being hacked.

Berman Jackson was appointed to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in 2011 by former President Barack Obama.

“The untimely death of plaintiffs’ sons is tragic, and the Court does not mean to minimize the unspeakable loss that plaintiffs have suffered in any way,” she wrote Friday.

Yet didn’t she herself minimize it by delivering her opinion at the start of Memorial Day weekend? She couldn’t have waited a week?
