Monica Lewinsky dances on Roger Ailes’ grave; blames him, Fox News for HER Bill Clinton ‘nightmare’

Monica Lewinsky celebrated the death of Fox News founder Roger Ailes and blamed him for the “nightmare” she faced after her affair with former president Bill Clinton.

Lewinsky, who shot to global fame in 1995 for servicing Clinton in the Oval Office when she was a White House intern, insisted that Ailes and Fox News were responsible for her infamy.

“Mr. Ailes huddled with his employees at Fox News, dictating a lineup of talking heads to best exploit this personal and national tragedy,” Lewinsky wrote in a tone-deaf op-ed for the New York Times.

In a poorly-written, rambling post, Monica recounted how terrified she was after news surfaced that she and Bill Clinton had carried on an affair behind Hillary’s back when he was president.

“My family and I huddled at home, worried about my going to jail — I was the original target of Ken Starr’s investigation, threatened with 27 years for having been accused of signing a false affidavit, obstructing justice, suborning perjury and other crimes — or worse, me taking my own life,” Lewinsky recalled.

At the time, Monica Lewinsky was trashed by both liberals and conservatives for her skanky behavior and lack of discretion (it was Lewinsky’s boasting to former Pentagon official Linda Tripp that ultimately led to her downfall).

The scandal was also widely covered by ALL media outlets around the world because it led to the impeachment of Bill Clinton for perjury and obstruction of justice by the House of Representatives. The Senate later acquitted him.

But Lewinsky insists it was Roger Ailes and Fox News that were most responsible for the public’s negative perception of her:

Just two years after Rupert Murdoch appointed Mr. Ailes to head the new cable news network, my relationship with President Bill Clinton became public. Mr. Ailes, a former Republican political operative, took the story of the affair and the trial that followed and made certain his anchors hammered it ceaselessly, 24 hours a day.

It worked like magic: The story hooked viewers and made them Fox loyalists. For the past 15 years, Fox News has been the No. 1 news station; last year the network made about $2.3 billion.

Lewinsky said the worldwide press coverage of her affair led to her being cyber-bullied as a “whore, a bimbo, a slut and worse.”

Interestingly, she failed to mention that Hillary Clinton had reportedly called her a “narcissistic loony toon.”

Lewinsky also praised “brave women like Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly” for coming forward to spotlight the sexual harassment allegations against Ailes and other Fox News executives.

Meanwhile, Monica said nothing about the long list of sexual harassment and rape allegations against her former boyfriend Bill Clinton.

Lewinsky ended her post by suggesting the death of Roger Ailes will usher in the demise of Fox News.

“So, farewell to the age of Ailes,” Monica wrote. “The late Fox chief pledged Americans fair and balanced news. Maybe now we’ll get it.”
