NO! Libs triggered by Fox & Friends women in tight skirts and high heels Spring cleaning to THIS song …

On Saturday morning, Fox & Friends ran a segment on Spring cleaning tips. One might think such a light-hearted feature wouldn’t be newsworthy at all beyond the tips themselves, especially given that it’s not at all uncommon for television shows to run segments like this since, you, know, it’s SPRING.

But when it comes to Fox News and liberal triggering, one never knows what kind of fallout can occur when producers unwittingly run afoul of political correctness. In this instance, co-hosts Clayton Morris and Abby Huntsman and guest co-host Pete Segeth introduced the upcoming segment by having the presenter, Lifestyle Expert Ana Desouza, and Huntsman pretend to dust and wipe along with some upbeat music from the Coasters.

‘Iron’ Nikki Haley ‘like a boss’ to UN: ‘If you’re gonna take up for Assad, you need to say it in public’

But no, don’cha know, it was far, far more sinister than that!

Carissa House-Dunphy writes on Bipartisan Report:

No one will be surprised to hear that Fox News aired an incredibly sexist segment on its weekend edition of Fox & Friends. In Roger Ailes’ world, the feminist movement never happened and it’s still 1950…

Of the three people hosting the show that day, Fox News of course chose the one with a degree in political science and communications, the one with decades of experience in national news broadcasting, to demonstrate house cleaning. They chose the only woman on the panel, Abby Huntsman.

As the two women silently cleaned and posed, Morris introduced the segment, promising tips to “make your spring cleaning a breeze, like cleaning your lamp with a lint roller. Ah, I’ve never done that.” Guest host Pete Segeth quickly asserted his manly cluelessness on housework, as well, saying “I guess your lamps get linty?”

While the two women cleaned in designer dresses and high heels, groomed to the teeth with hair and makeup perfectly applied, the 1958 hit by The Coasters, “Yakkity Yak (Don’t Talk Back) ” played in the background.

Both Bipartisan Report and Raw Story quoted the song: “Take out the papers and the trash / Or you don’t get no spendin’ cash / If you don’t scrub that kitchen floor / You ain’t gonna rock and roll no more / Yakety yak (don’t talk back).”

As if that was truly Fox News’ intention, to toss women back to the 50’s, and barefoot to boot!

Interestingly, Raw Story concluded their coverage with this:

And after several minutes, two male hosts made an appearance.

“Guys, I know you are thrilled about all of these,” Huntsman said sarcastically.

“I’m excited to watch you do it,” Morris quipped.

Except, what the liberal outlets left out was the fact that the guys were happy to pitch in and learn a few things themselves, as evidenced by watching the actual video.

Notwithstanding the fact that it’s entirely possible that ladies might enjoy cleaning (and watching HGTV, but that’s another article) more than men, does this segment seem sexist to you?
