Scarlett Johansson slams Ivanka for wanting ‘it both ways,’ but isn’t she the one talking out both sides of her big mouth?

Actress Scarlett Johansson bashed Ivanka Trump as “old-fashioned” and “cowardly,” saying the first daughter should be more vocal about wielding her power in the White House.

Johansson said she’s disgusted that Ivanka influences her dad, President Trump, “behind the scenes” because that idea is so anti-feminist and arcane.

“You can’t have it both ways!” Johansson said at the Women in the World conference in New York. “If you take a job as a public advocate, then you must advocate publicly. This idea that behind a great man is a great woman — that’s such an old-fashioned concept.”

Johansson was reacting to Ivanka’s CBS News interview where she said that her positive impact on the Trump administration will be mostly behind-the-scenes.

“Well, that’s empowering!” Johansson said sarcastically. “Screw that! It’s so old-fashioned, it’s so uninspired and actually really cowardly.”

It’s ironic that leftists are now insisting that Ivanka be more vocal in influencing policy, when she was viciously slammed as “unqualified” to advise her dad — something she has done for years as an executive of the Trump Organization.

Last month, liberals loudly complained when Ivanka announced her new role as a White House adviser, saying she shouldn’t influence policy at all. Leftists basically suggested that Ivanka should be seen and not heard. Now, Scarlett Johansson is saying the exact opposite.

The twice-divorced Johansson admits she has long been interested in politics. Scarlett’s twin bother, Hunter Johansson, worked on president Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns, and was recently a community organizer for Manhattan borough president Scott Stringer.

Scarlett stumped for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign. When asked if she’d ever run for office, the “Avengers” star said it’s not something she’d consider right now, but she doesn’t rule it out for the future.

“I don’t rule anything out, but I have a very full life right now,” Johansson said. “I think with a very young daughter and all I want to do with my career, I can’t imagine [entering politics] would be a possibility for a long time.”
